confession friday

I confess I am doing this from my phone so it could be interesting.
I confess that I am ready for a new phone because mine has been messing up. Text messages going to the wrong people or no one at all.
I confess that i joined myfitnesspal and I love it makes counting calories so easy!
I confess that today this week is my baby girls first full week in kindergarten.
I confess she got invitied to her first birthday party from a classmate.
I confess I really need to not let peoples actions bother me.
I confess that I am so happy its friday because this has been a crappy week.
I confess that i often think about what this world would be like if people treated people the way they wanted to be treated?

So I was on facebook and a friend had a prayer request it was for a friend of hers who's husband is a police officer. They have children and recently adopted a baby. Sometime this weekend I believe he rushed to the hospital. He had bacterial meningitis and current has no vision. ( I ask that you pray for this family) I do not know this family at all but have been praying for them.  I could not imagine being in her shoes taking care of kids and with her husband. I guess the whole point of this was while I am not great at words its just makes me realize that I am very blessed to have the simple things ( vision, healthy kids, husband etc). People need to realize that "life" happens and its not what you want its what GOD has planned for you.  Which reminds me of a song that I have been listening to alot of lately. My God My Savior. The beginning of the song is what I say alot "I am not skilled to understand, What God has willed, What God has planned.  I know I struggle as a Christian, a mom, a wife, a Friend but I do try my best and I am sure I have upset people and I truly don't  mean to and I am sorry and I love all of you! I don't really know the whole point of this or if it even makes sense but I feel like it is something that I needed to type out! Have a great night everyone!

Confession Friday (Saturday)

I confess that my baby girl's first week of Kindergarten is over but she really seems to be enjoying herself. She is getting so big.

I confess that I am typing this on Saturday not friday :-)

I confess that I am suprised by the lack of respect younger kids have for people and how irresponsble they are.

I confess that my son has my phone more then I do because he loves playing bowling.

I confess that that I have been so tired lately seems like I can't get enough sleep.

I confess that Jackson loves to be naked. That kid is always taking his clothes off and doing this "naked naked" dance. and Last week he ran outside naked in the middle of the day.

I confess I have a steam cleaner and I can not wait to use it!!!

Miss Diva all ready for School!

Well today was Kenedi's first day of Kindergarten! Were did my baby go? She is getting so big.  She was so excited to start. She got up this morning and asked me if she had to stay home with daddy or go to school. I told her school she was soo happy!  I am so proud of the little girl she is becoming. She is so smart and independent and beautiful. I know she will do great in school.  Crazy how times flies.  I was proud of myself for not crying when I dropped her off, but as I am typing this I am fighting back tears.  Mommy loves you Kenedi! Have a great first day!



Confession Friday

I confess that Kenedi and I watched Soul Surfer and I asked her what it was about and she said a shark attack and trusting God like Logo (Logan) said.  Melted my heart!

I confess I am sitting here waiting for dad and barb to come over to watch the kids so I can go to Rachel's pampered Chef party!  I can't wait!

I confess I am probably the only mother who doesn't let their kids eat ice.

I confess that Jackson loves eating string or hair I am not sure what his deal is!

I confess that while this week alot of people annoyed me I come to realize there is not point in trying to understand ones actions or words.

I confess that I am not sure why the above two confessions look the way they do!

I confess that Jackson keeps saying Papa going to play with me and its soo cute!

I confess that Kenedi starts school wed and I will be crying like a baby I'm sure!

Weekend Wrap-up!

I know all of you are just wanting to know what I did this weekend so here it goes!

Oh before I start big thanks to Kim for spicing my blog up a bit!

Friday night was family night for VBS! The kids did such a good job! I truly enjoyed teaching this year and for the record I would be down for another week! Jackson didn't sit down very well and crawled under about 4 pews before coming up! kids will be kids!

Saturday didn't do much of anything really the highlight was going to orange leaf and getting the new chocolate mint flavor and can we say yumm!!!!!

Today well we usually leave the house around 9:15 for church but the kids were sound asleep and we didn't get up till 8:40 yikes! Good thing is we made it! The kids got to sing today during worship service and they did a great job! Then after church I went to Rachel's and Jamie gave us the 411 on the couponing! So excited need to get a couple more things! Thanks sooo much Jamie and to Rachel for letting us use her house! Then tonight went back to church to hear about the mission trip to Belize sounded like alot of fun and a very God-filled! I hope someday I can go on a mission trip! Well hope everyone had a great weekend!!!!

Confession Friday!

I confess that this is my first confession!
I confess that I have been teaching VBS all week and while I have been dragging durning the day it has been worth it! I enjoyed all my kids!
I confess that with Kenedi starting school in less then two weeks it has made me relize that next year Jackson will be in preschool and he will be attending VBS too! Where did my babies go?
I confess that I do not understand why  girls need to be fake. Either be a good friend or don't be one at all. I will be teaching my daughter this!
I confess that I am so proud and a little jealous (haha) at how awesome Meredith is looking and that she goes to the gym so much. Wish I could do that!
I confess that I STILL need to go buy me some running shoes but I have been so busy!!
I confess that I know my confession are borning but hopefully they will be better next week...but who really reads this anyway?!?

Weekend Wrapup!

Thanks Kim for the idea's for my blog, I mean you are the reason I started one! Lol  So lets see here friday after work I had to take Kenedi to the eye doctor the last thing she needed for kindergarten (where did my baby go?) she kept asking if she needed glasses because she wanted them! So its our turn to see the doctor he said that he was impressed by how well she knew her numbers (thats my baby smart just like her mommy) and colors.  After the exam the doctor was talking to me and the whole time Kenedi is like Do I need glasses : Do I need glasses? He told her that she didn't need them right now and that we have to come  back in six months because she is on the border line with needing them as you can imagine we had a Major MELT DOWN over this. So I think I may take her to clairs and get her some fake cheap glasses! After the eye doctor it was time to go get jackson and head home. Friday Trenton came over to stay the night. Jackson adores him! Saturday I was brave enough to take 3 kids to walmart on a saturday afternoon and they were soo good! I was very proud of them! Saturday night we didn't do much just watched moves since we had such a busy week coming up! Sunday morning as I was getting ready for church and Matt was already at work all I hear is screaming and yelling and Kenedi and Jackson fighting! The devil was in our house I think :-) so needless to say we had a pretty bad morning and we had to stay after church to decorate my room for VBS and the kids did great! They were soo helpful with everything! A big thanks to my helper Judy and her daughter! Sunday night kicked off our VBS at church and my first year teaching I was so nervous ! My class is the 3 & 4 year olds. I only have 2 kids :-( which I am kinda bummed about but I am so impressed by how much they do listen and pay  attention! So that was pretty much my weekend (if ya care lol)
